Aha.. kali ini postingan gue tentang The Beatles *lanjutkan*

Menurut gue lagu The Beatles termasuk dalam list lagu terbaik yang gue punya dan kita tahu group yang digawangi oleh John Lennon (rhythm guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, vocals), George Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals). Semua lagu the beatles ditulis oleh John Lennon dan Paul McCartney. Yang gue suka dari beberapa lagu yang ada di semua album fenomenal mereka salah satunya album "Please Please Me" dan judul lagunya adalah “Till There Was You”. Kenapa?

Karena sejarah lagu ini yang membuat gue suka dan emang enak juga di dengernya, gue mau cerita sedikit rahasia yang mungkin kalian tidak tahu walaupun ada yang tahu mungkin fans beratnya The Beatles.hhe Cerita itu dimulai ketika di balik suksesnya lagu "Till There Was You" ada seorang perempuan yang membikin sebuah lagu yang bernama Meredith Willson dan pada akhirnya kemudian di nyanyikan dengan versi terbaru oleh The Beatles. Ditulis pada tahun 1957 untuk drama musikal The Music Man. Dan pada saat itu lagu ini dinyanyikan oleh pustakawan terkenal Marian Paroo ( Barbara Cook Broadway , Shirley Jones ) Profesor Harold Hill ( diperankan oleh Robert Preston ) menjelang berakhirnya drama musikal babak kedua.

Dan versi The Beatles lalu disertakan pada album mereka ( UK Release, 1963) dan Meet the Beatles (US Release, 1964). Lagu ini adalah satu-satunya lagu Broadway The Beatles yang pernah tercatat.

Mungkin itulah sedikit cerita dari gue, semoga menambah wawasan kalian semua tentang sejarah The Beatles dan juga lagu-lagunya.
